The Lion Mind is open and currently providing counselling, psychotherapy, life coaching, workshops and corporate mental-wellness services in Singapore.
Our current private practice is operated by Lion Counselling Pte. Ltd. under the business name The Lion Mind.
Clarification About Our 2025 Transition
The Lion Mind began in 2018 as a nonprofit organisation operated by The Lion Mind Limited.
In 2025, the former nonprofit entity concluded its operations:
- Client-facing services under The Lion Mind Limited ended on 15 June 2025.
- The former counselling centre at 141 Cecil Street completed its closure on 30 June 2025.
- From 1 July 2025, The Lion Mind entered a new chapter as a private practice operated by Lion Counselling Pte. Ltd.
The former nonprofit entity and the current private company are separate legal entities. However, The Lion Mind continues its commitment to providing professional, ethical and person-centred mental-health support.
About the Former .org.sg Website
The former website at thelionmind.org.sg belonged to The Lion Mind Limited and is now defunct. It is not the website of the current private practice.
Some older website and social-media announcements stated that The Lion Mind was permanently closing and that subsequent organisations using the name were not affiliated with The Lion Mind Limited.
Those statements referred specifically to the closure of the former nonprofit legal entity. They should not be interpreted as meaning that the current private practice operated by Lion Counselling Pte. Ltd. is closed.
