Free World Mental Health Day 2026 Webinar: Jungian Psychology and Archetypes
Singapore
In recognition of World Mental Health Day 2026, The Lion Mind is collaborating with Intentions to present a free public webinar exploring Jungian psychology, archetypes, and personal reflection through OH Cards and Tarot.
Taking place on Saturday, 10 October 2026, from 3 pm to 5 pm, this online event is free for Singapore residents, with registration required.
Hosted by Justin Chan of Intentions, the session features James Chong, Principal Counsellor at The Lion Mind, and Kai Fang, Spiritual Practitioner at Intentions. Together, they will introduce different perspectives on symbolism, personal meaning, and self-understanding.
Exploring symbols and personal meaning
An image, a story, or a familiar character can sometimes help someone put an experience into words. These starting points can open conversations about how people see themselves, relate to others, and respond to changes in their lives.
The webinar introduces Jungian psychology and archetypes in an accessible way, inviting participants to consider how recurring themes and symbols may relate to their own experiences.
James will introduce OH Cards as prompts for reflection and conversation. He will explore how images and words can invite personal associations, with each person making sense of what they notice in their own way.
Kai Fang will share perspectives on Tarot from his spiritual practice, introducing how its imagery and symbolism can offer another starting point for reflection.
Justin will guide the session and facilitate a question-and-answer discussion, giving attendees an opportunity to engage with the speakers and learn more about the approaches presented.
Making community learning accessible
By offering this webinar at no cost, The Lion Mind hopes to make it easier for people to take part in conversations about mental wellbeing and personal reflection.
Participants can attend out of curiosity, bring a question, or simply listen and learn. No prior knowledge of Jungian psychology, OH Cards, or Tarot is required.
The event also reflects The Lion Mind’s interest in extending its community and corporate outreach through public education and meaningful collaboration.
For James, this direction connects with a question that stayed with him after attending recent conferences: What would it mean for love to become infrastructure? This invites consideration of how care can take practical form through accessible learning opportunities, partnerships, and continued community involvement.
Furthering community giving through Intentions
James’s involvement with Intentions provides an additional avenue to give back through wellness education, reflective experiences, and collaboration with other practitioners.
Working alongside Kai Fang and Justin creates opportunities to reach people with different interests and questions, while contributing to shared community initiatives such as this free webinar.
James continues his counselling and psychotherapy work through The Lion Mind. His work with Intentions expands the ways in which he can contribute to community learning and personal exploration.
Through this collaboration, The Lion Mind hopes to encourage thoughtful conversations and create more opportunities for people to engage with their own wellbeing.
Continuing the learning in person
For helping professionals who wish to explore OH Cards facilitation in greater depth, James will also facilitate his first in-person, one-day OH Cards Facilitation Masterclass in Singapore on 28 November 2026.
Designed for counsellors, coaches, educators, and others in helping roles, the masterclass focuses on structured facilitation for one-to-one reflective conversations. It offers a setting for practical learning and discussion about using OH Cards thoughtfully within participants’ professional roles.
The masterclass is a separate paid professional workshop, with its own registration.
