Bashayar supports individuals experiencing a range of mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, adjustment issues, sleep difficulties, social anxiety, stress and burnout, exam-related stress, and family-related stress. Additionally, she also provides personal therapy for mental health trainees.
The Lion Mind
As a Counselling Intern with The Lion Mind, Bashayar creates a safe, affirming, and non-judgemental space for clients to explore personal challenges and emotional growth. She is passionate about walking alongside individuals in their healing journeys and is committed to ongoing growth as a counselling professional.
Clinical Knowledge & Skills
Bashayar is currently providing counselling at the CAE Counselling Centre, where she works with a diverse range of clients under professional supervision. Her clinical training focuses on applying evidence-based approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Person-Centred Approach, to support clients in addressing emotional, behavioural, and relational challenges. Through her practicum experience, she is developing strong skills in active listening, case conceptualisation, and treatment planning. Bashayar is deeply committed to her growth as a counsellor and actively engages in supervision, reflective practice, and ongoing professional development to enhance her ability to create meaningful change for her clients.
Other Experiences
Bashayar brings diverse experience from leadership, research, and community initiatives. She serves as a Publication Committee Member and Roaster Lead with the Psychology Coalition at the United Nations (PCUN), contributing to global advocacy for psychology in policy-making through content development and outreach. As a Knowledge Agent and Researcher at Kayos Kollective, she conducts research, prepares reports, and contributes insights to support counselling and community-based initiatives. Bashayar also volunteers as a Mentor with Advisory Singapore, providing empathetic guidance and career support to students. Previously, she was Vice President and Events Coordinator of the HERO Club at Kaplan Higher Education Academy (2016–2019), where she led student events, volunteer programmes, and community projects, strengthening her leadership and organisational skills.
Book a Counselling Session
Bashayar offers offers both in-person ($70) and online ($40) counselling sessions. She also provides free online counselling sessions for learners enrolled in CBT Masterclasses. She is first-time client-friendly and conducts sessions in English.
