Workshop Overview
Jungian Psychology & OH Cards is a professional training programme designed to help coaches and counsellors expand their therapeutic toolkit with powerful projective techniques.
Grounded in Jungian psychology, this workshop introduces learners to the concepts of archetypes, projection, and the unconscious — providing the theoretical foundation for understanding why OH Cards are so effective in bypassing defences and opening pathways to self-discovery.
The workshop is highly experiential. Through demonstrations, guided practice, and supervised facilitation, learners will gain not just knowledge, but also practical confidence in applying OH Cards with their clients. Learners will take home structured OH Cards facilitation skills specifically tailored for 1-to-1 discovery sessions. These techniques can be immediately integrated into coaching or counselling practice to help clients uncover hidden perspectives, deepen self-awareness, and generate new insights.
Whether you are looking to add creative approaches to your counselling sessions, enrich your coaching practice with projective tools, or explore new ways of connecting with clients, this workshop equips you with both the theory and practical skills to facilitate safe, ethical, and transformative client work.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
1. Does this workshop qualifies me to be a counsellor / psychologist?
Attending this workshop does not qualify you to work as a Counsellor or a Psychologist.
To learn more about becoming a registered counsellor with the Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC), you may also reach out to SAC for further guidance and requirements.
To learn more about becoming a full member with the Singapore Psychological Society (SPS), you may also reach out to SPS for further guidance and requirements
2. Will I get a certificate after attending this workshop?
You will receive a Certificate of Attendance upon successful completion of the workshop’s requirements.
3. What are OH Cards?
OH Cards are a series of metaphorical card decks developed jointly by German psychologist Moritz Egetmeyer and Mexican artist Ely Raman. The original deck consists of 88 word cards and 88 picture cards, allowing for up to 7,744 unique combinations.
Client select cards and explore their own associative meanings. The cards can be used as a reflective tool or as a game, helping individuals uncover subconscious beliefs, gain insight into personal patterns, and heighten self-awareness.
OH Cards are not mystical or predictive. There are no pre-determined meanings for each card; all interpretations arise from the participant’s personal connection and reflection.
4. Are OH Cards used for fortune-telling or psychic readings?
No. OH Cards are not a divination tool.
Unlike Tarot, Angel, or Oracle cards, OH Cards are grounded in psychology. OH Cards help clients explore their own thoughts, emotions, and narratives, supporting self-reflection, insight, and personal growth — not predicting the future.
5. I work with Tarot or other card-based readings. Can this workshop benefit my practice?
Definitely! While OH Cards are not used for fortune-telling, practitioners familiar with Tarot, Angel, or Oracle cards can gain valuable skills from this workshop. You will learn Jungian-informed, psychologically grounded techniques to help clients explore emotions, uncover meaning, and reflect on their experiences — expanding your toolkit beyond predictive readings.
6. Is this workshop only for counsellors?
No.
Life coaches, educators, social workers, and others in helping professions will find the skills transferable and practical.
Diploma students, and undergraduate students in the field of helping professions will find this helpful.
7. What exactly will I be able to do after the workshop?
You will leave the workshop armed with three structured sets of OH Cards facilitation techniques you can immediately apply in 1-to-1 sessions with clients.
8. What is Jungian Psychology?
Jungian Psychology, developed by Swiss psychiatrist Carl Gustav Jung, is a depth psychology approach that explores the unconscious mind and its influence on thoughts, emotions, and behaviour. Key concepts include archetypes, the shadow, persona, and the process of individuation—the journey toward self-awareness and personal growth.
In practice, Jungian Psychology helps individuals understand underlying patterns, discover meaning, and integrate different aspects of themselves for greater insight and emotional well-being.
9. Do I need to know Jungian psychology beforehand?
Not at all. The workshop introduces key Jungian concepts in a clear and practical way.
10. Why Jungian Psychology with OH Cards?
OH Cards are grounded in Jungian principles, particularly projection, archetypes, and the unconscious. Using Jungian theory alongside OH Cards helps practitioners understand why the cards work psychologically, enabling them to guide clients safely and effectively in exploring thoughts, emotions, and personal narratives.
The combination ensures that sessions are not only creative and experiential but also theoretically informed, helping clients uncover meaning, deepen self-awareness, and gain insight into their inner world.
11. Is this training evidence-based?
Yes!
OH Cards are grounded in Jungian psychology, particularly the concepts of projection, archetypes, and the unconscious. These foundations explain why OH Cards are effective as projective tools. This is why the workshop integrates both Jungian theory and practical application — to ensure learners understand not only how to use OH Cards, but also why they work.
12. Do I need to bring OH Cards?
No. Each learner will be provided with a deck of OH Cards to use during the workshop, allowing for hands-on practice without needing to bring your own. You will be able to bring the deck of OH Cards home after the workshop.
13. Will I be able to run group workshops after this training?
Learners will be introduced to facilitation principles for group settings and observe group exercises; however, this workshop primarily focuses on 1-to-1 client sessions. Additional training is recommended to confidently lead full group workshops.
14. Is this an accredited counselling qualification?
This workshop is not a formal counselling qualification and does not confer professional licensure. It is, however, currently under review for OPD hours by the Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC).
Additionally, it is recognised within the Singapore OH Cards community (unofficially) by organisations such as The Lion Mind, Vincent Soo Coaching, Authentic Men Asia, Authentic Relationships Asia, and Joyful Soul Psychology, among others, for training in practical OH Cards facilitation.
15. Why do I want to join this workshop?
This workshop is ideal for coaches, counsellors, and helping professionals who want to expand their toolkit with a creative, evidence-informed approach. You will learn Jungian psychology principles and gain practical OH Cards facilitation skills that can be applied immediately with 1-to-1 clients.
OH Cards are especially helpful for clients who struggle to find words or make sense of their experiences, providing a visual and symbolic medium to express thoughts and emotions. Through this highly experiential workshop, you will leave with three structured techniques and the confidence to guide clients toward self-discovery, deeper reflection, and meaningful insight.
