Workshop Overview

This workshop aims to equip learners with a deeper understanding of the theory and clinical application of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) in treating anxiety and related disorders. Building upon prior knowledge and skills acquired in Levels 1 and 2, this workshop focuses on targeted CBT interventions designed to manage anxiety symptoms effectively.

CBT is a highly structured, short-term, evidence-based psychotherapy widely recognised for its efficacy in treating a range of psychological conditions, particularly anxiety and mood disorders. In this workshop, learners will acquire specialised techniques for applying CBT with clients experiencing anxiety-related issues.

This workshop is suitable for learners who have completed foundational CBT training and wish to further develop their competencies in addressing anxiety through structured CBT interventions. It is particularly beneficial for individuals aspiring to practise as CBT Psychotherapists or Associate Psychologists (counselling).

By the end of this workshop, learners with a mental health qualification (e.g., Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology) will be equipped with the essential skills to apply CBT effectively with clients presenting with anxiety disorders.
